Rice Puree is a chewable food supplement suitable to consume during sports activities,

made with a new type of ingredient called "Rice Gelée (Rice Gel)" and a long-lasting sugar called "Palatinose".

[What is Palatinose?]
Palatinose is a sustained energy carbohydrate that

suppresses the sudden rise in blood sugar levels

after ingesting nutrition during exercise and prevents hypoglycemia.

Palatinose, made by Mitsui Sugar and contained in Rice Puree,

is a sweetener made from sugar.

It is a natural carbohydrate that is also found in honey,

but since only small amounts can be extracted from honey,

it is thus made from sugar using the power of enzymes.

Hideya Miyazuka, who oversaw the development of this Rice Puree,

has been a top professional athlete for many years,

having twice placed in the top 10 at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii
